That's it, that's the one.Annoyed Grunt wrote:The Campaign.......it was shite..Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Started to watch a movie, a 'comedy', on Sky. Can't remember the name of it, it's got Dan Ackroyd in it. About a congressman(?)/senator(?) trying to get re-elected. I could stomach about five minutes of it before I was hurling shoes at the tv. I turned it over after nine minutes. The worst film I've tried to watch this decade. I will not be giving it a second chance.
That's not a leopard!

Some new series on Netflix 'Orange is the New Black'. Enjoyed it that much I watched 7 episodes back to back yesterday evening. Not one to watch with the kids around though, hells bells.
Uma mesa para um, faz favor. Obrigado.

Been told to watch this by my brother as he knows I'm an Idris Elba fan. Will have to get around to it at some point.General Mannerheim wrote:before i went on holiday id never seen Luther, now ive seen the first 2 series im almost nervous returning to Shoreditch! dark, brutal, thrilling, excellent TV!

Just watched the imagine documentary on Don McCullen. Read his autobiography a few years ago and this was a great piece of television that reminded just what a good book he'd written. It captured some of the horrors he'd witnessed through his lens and he the poor bloke still looks haunted by what he's seen.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Been to see The Act of Killing. Looked very bleak, has had some amazing reviews, I walked out after less than an hour, for the first time in my life. Shit.
It's a docudrama about when the Indonesian government was overthrown by the military in 1965, it follows Anwar and his friends who were promoted from small-time gangsters to death squad leaders. They helped the army kill more than one million alleged communists, ethnic Chinese, and intellectuals in less than a year. As the executioner for the most notorious death squad in his city, Anwar himself killed hundreds of people with his own hands.
Sounds fascinating doesn't it? It's not.

It amazes me that its only now people are getting into Luther.
Orange is the new Black is one of the best TV shows of the last few years. Its fantastic. Well done again, Netflix.

I'll have a re-watch of Sandra Bullock in The Net. Been a while so I'll give it a go.

I'm glad the slighter less wankery one won.

Anyone seen Louie? Louis C.K.'s sitcom.
I love his stand up and this looks could. Even this scene, which I've only seen standalone, which is brilliant in my mind.
