1. I feel like death and have been missing work stuff because of it - a long day out in the cold and a late night return would be stupid.
2. snow forecast - might get cancelled anyway
3. I can't afford to get snowed in to London being as I have 2 services to conduct the following morning
(but - chiefly - no.1)
so - I have 2 tickets that I can send first class today if anyone wants them at face value? (PM me)
Woah, 2 tickets
Why 2 tickets?

DF has said the following..
"It's a pitch that doesn't take too well to the frost. I believe if the weather we're expecting comes, it's going to be 50/50"

Not going now Bish has the man flu. Don't really fancy sitting on my own to watch you lot and my ticket was with him. Sounds like game could be called off anyway.
Re: Palace Game
I really hope it's called off! I can't make it, and I really want to go.

There'd be lots of spaces! You could have come and sat with us. Either that, or on CAPS's lap.

Re: Palace Game
Got my ticket but it doesn't sound promising. No undersoil heating at Palace apparently (sorry if this has already been mentioned).

If not, I'll be forced to spend all afternoon in the pub

Re: Palace Game
It's just started snowing here, 10 miles or so away
You have to squint to see it, but it's just started
EDIT OK, I may have mocked a little early: it's settling. And the weather forecast for SE25 isn't promising: snow most of the time between now and kick-off, never rising above zero.

And very little after 6 in the morning
Heaters on the pitch
I'd say its a toss up but I'd not be amazed if it goes ahead

The local council have plenty of warning to get gritters out around the ground to make sure paths are safe so I can see it going ahead.

I live in SE26 - snow started at 8 this morning as I left the house, and I understand it's now inches deep with no sign of abating.CAPSLOCK wrote:Depends what is meant by 'light snow'Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:It's just started snowing here, 10 miles or so away
