The very title suggests to me that that'd be a big bag'o'wank and therefor, unlike Grunto, I wouldn't actually be disappointed by it as I wouldn't e watching it in the first place.thebish wrote:Annoyed Grunt wrote:Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D...
Bit of a disappointment to be honest.....
aye - big bag'o'wank...

Last night I spent 4 hours with The Who... The making of Tommy; the screening of Tommy - Ken Russell such a restrained director, Oliver Reed such a subtle actor - but a lot of fun. Then a documentary on Quadrophenia.
The Who were pretty good, and Townsend clearly a creative volcano.

White House Down would never normally be on my radar but when faced with that or strictly+wank-factor, wasn't a tough decision - but bloody hell I thought was terrific! Mindless exploding helicopters good fun.

I like all that comic book stuff normally but the first episode was crap. Good to see Arrow back though.thebish wrote:Annoyed Grunt wrote:Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D...

Yesterday we watched two contributions from LF. One Uruguayan, one Spanish. Both subtitled.
They were very, very slow movies. And both films ended with no genuine resolution (not that I necessarily object to that).
One was called Whisky, the other The Maid. Avoid if you like action movies.

Sadly, Peter wanted to show his volcano off to children under the age of 14. How Townsend has got away with a conviction for child sex offences and retains his credibility is beyond meWilliam the White wrote:Last night I spent 4 hours with The Who... Why is he treated any differently to Gary Glitter
