Usually not fussed if people can't do it for one reason or the other but this happened about six or seven times. And it was because he was too busy with his other job. If you're that busy then either a) don't book lessons like you can make them or b) sort yer feckin diary out.
Angry because it's put me well back on training as i'd train light or not at all before a lesson. Trying to claim a refund. Triathlon in two weeks (hi hoboh!) will hurt.

Thanks PC..I'm off to St Mary's at Howrich tomorrow for a thanksgiving mass for Damien and Evan. I am sure a few of his ex Thornleigh mates will be there tooPC1978 wrote:Only just read this ST. Hopefully, the family business will continue in the same vein it had before.Salford Trotter wrote:We had a call from a cousin of ours this morning to say that my cousin and his son had died in a tragic accident in Colorado back in April but their bodies were only recovered in July. Fecking women!!!! Girlfriend going out tonight with her mates, I'm babysitting her lad, no problems there. However everytime she's going to go out, she gets herself that worked up about what to wear etc, that inevitably she starts arguing with me over nowt. Queue the "we can't take the kids swimming today as the dress I've ordered looks shit, so I need to go out and buy a new one as I've nothing to wear (3 wardrobes full) so we'll have to go swimming next week!!!", to which I replied "ok, I'll tell the kids, it's no problem", to which he she replied "oh so now you're blaming me for ruining the kids day!!!"

Unfortunately it's just plain insanity WtW, otherwise I'd excuse her madness. On a side note, the craziness now means she's cancelled her night out due to her not having anything to wear and the fact that I've pissed her off and I'm no longer babysitting as she wants a quiet night in, so now it's off to the pub for meWilliam the White wrote:WTOTM?wigan white wrote:Fecking women!!!! ↑↑↑↑ Winner then.
You'll find that she never really wanted to go, doesn't like the girl it's for anyway, doesn't like a good number of her mates & wasn't keen on the plans for the evening.
Oh .... & most of that is your fault.

After yesterday's debacle, I have now received a full apology and am having a Sunday roast cooked for me ( this should now be moved to the happy thread).
Although as bobo foresaw, she admitted she wasn't keen on the plans for last night and couldn't be doing with one of the girls who was going out

Do they ever develop a filter between 'shit that they think' and 'shit that they say'? Spent a lovely week reading in the Cornish sun occasionally punctuated by stuff like: *she lifts her head* 'I think I'll have a shower tonight rather than in the morning' *she lowers her head*.
Thanks for letting me know.

In fact you'll find that, at present, she thinks she's holding back.

She is giving you important information, Pru. She is saying "Don't stink up the bathroom after supper tonight as I wish to use it and we've run out of air freshener."Prufrock wrote:Do they ever develop a filter between 'shit that they think' and 'shit that they say'? Britain First. Or more correctly, some of my 'friends' on Geekbook who continually 'like' or share their racist, bigoted shite. I feel a mass culling of my friends list coming on.

I find phrases like "Well don't hold back for me !" are wonderfully inflammatory at that moment.Burnden Paddock wrote:I get told that, 'I could nag, but I don't. Yep. I shared a link in the hope some might realise what they are sharing. Some just don't get it...Bijou Bob wrote:Britain First. Or more correctly, some of my 'friends' on Geekbook who continually 'like' or share their racist, bigoted shite. I feel a mass culling of my friends list coming on.

Oh yes - this 'Stop the Astley Bridge Mosque' business has unearthed one or two. This weekend I've broke my own record for the time it took me to 'friend' and then 'defriend' someone. I got a right snotty message asking why? I pointed out that I didn't care at all for the BNP shite that she posted up, to which I received 'Well feck off then, Paki Lover'. Charming.

May the bridges I burn light your way

Just wait until she starts having most of a conversation in her head, and you only benefit from the last sentence (generally with a question in it)...Prufrock wrote:Do they ever develop a filter between 'shit that they think' and 'shit that they say'? You just have to say - do you want to tell me the 15 minutes of thinking that preceded the question, just so I have a fcking clue...
