If you simply come here as a WUM then its a bit pathetic really.
If I really was working as anyones PR man then I wouldn't waste my time on here, arguing with the likes of you!

No, United rumours are growing, mainly via the medium of everybody quoting everybody else's rumourboltonboris wrote:Sure it's not Man City?Village_Idiot2 wrote:Some media outlets down here strongly hinting that Eto'o to ManU is practically done, but none of the outlets closest to Barça have picked it up yet, so I'm wary.

Indeed. If you ever read the "Orange transfer rumours message board" which I occasionally glance over to see the ridiculous rumours going round you will see that Eto has been spotted at Manchester Airport daily for the last few weeks.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:No, United rumours are growing, mainly via the medium of everybody quoting everybody else's rumourboltonboris wrote:Sure it's not Man City?Village_Idiot2 wrote:Some media outlets down here strongly hinting that Eto'o to ManU is practically done, but none of the outlets closest to Barça have picked it up yet, so I'm wary.

"According to reports" player X is "said to be set for" a move with manager Y "preparing to line up a swoop"
Thing is on this one, Eto'o may well be happy to sit tight at Camp Nou for the last year of his contract, while the Barça brass wish to cash in before he's worthless
City probably don't excite him in the slightest, £daft or no, but whether we like it or not, the other lot have a lot more pull

Dont be so touchy man! You said it yourself and what little snippits of wisdom Gary puts out don't make for much excitement either.BWFC_Insane wrote:Defend him from what? It's called limbo what we are going through and I ain't winding you up or anyone else! I genuinely think that with the targets we know, note know Megson has been after we are in for more of the same again this coming season and we ain't going to ride our luck forever. If Megson cannot see a bigger picture in front of his nose other than scraping survival every year then spouting he knows whats wrong then doing Jack about it I think I am entitled to have a go at him. come on mate be honest Davis may be an ok signing but our other linked players? be honest, see anything but a relegation scrap again? squad not big enough so sod the cups! and before you say "how do you know this will happen?" its called 42 years of BWFC experience.

Sorry DSB though it did spring from a debtae about Owen.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Amusing as it is, and right as you both may be, any chance you two lovebirds could keep your Megsoncentric billing'n'cooing to a more relevant thread?
It's bad enough have Megson/Mugson "debates" on every thread in The Trotters without it starting in Other Footy too...
But that aside its not a Megson in/out debate really. That simplifies it way too much!
Actually decided he ain't worth throwing 3.5mill at thats all, for me he's a bigger risk than Owen was, bad injury, not proven at the level we are at, would he turn into Demzil or Vaz te mk11 be another JOB we cannot afford that and thats for certain.BWFC_Insane wrote:How many times have you seen Bodde to judge Hoboh?
Or have you just decided that he must be shite?

Was right all along
Whoops missed this while posting sorry DSB its not really Megson in/out more if he's compus mentis about who he should sign.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Amusing as it is, and right as you both may be, any chance you two lovebirds could keep your Megsoncentric billing'n'cooing to a more relevant thread?

Answer the first question - how many times have you seen him play?hoboh2o wrote:Actually decided he ain't worth throwing 3.5mill at thats all, for me he's a bigger risk than Owen was, bad injury, not proven at the level we are at, would he turn into Demzil or Vaz te mk11 be another JOB we cannot afford that and thats for certain.BWFC_Insane wrote:How many times have you seen Bodde to judge Hoboh?

Sevilla nailed their number 1 target for the summer, Didier Zokora!
Apparently Zokora didn't score a goal in any games for Spurs, managing one assist in the league which was that shameful dive against Portsmouth. Tho can't confirm that.
