I really hope he doesn't leave. As with Gardner and Jaaskelainen, it really wouldn't feel right to watch him playing for somebody else...

If someone comes in for him with a suitable offer then he can go for me, i'll always remember what he has done for the club in the past but i'm more arsed about the present at this moment in time.

I wouldn't mind seeing him go to Rangers, just to see how my dad handles it. Diouf gave him conniptions. :D

I read somewhere that he wants to play for another 18 months. For all he's done for Bolton I'd rather he gets that 18 months elsewhere and someone younger and more hungry has the opportunity here.I'm sure there's always likely to be opportunities for the likes of Gardner,Jussi and Davies to be involved at the club once they've stopped playing so there's no need to get dewy eyed about it.No matter how great a player has been there always comes a point where they become a has been. I dont see how bolton can offer KD what he wants so he needs to move on.

Yeah. Not sure sentimentality should play a part, but lets be clear, he must be one of the greatest value for money signings this club has ever made. Being, of course, a relative position as footballers are paid handsomely these days.

Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Considering KD is probably on the highest weekly wage at the club for me he would have to take a massive drop to get a new contract. I'm sure he would be offered more away from Bolton than he would by accepting an offer from us.

I also don't think we should be offering him a decent wage as he will only be a bit part player from now on.

Thanks Kev but time to move on. That's life.

To uproot your lifestyle after nine years when you're tidyly well off, like an area, have a dream home there and your kids are settled, and all for eighteen months in Sunderland, West Brom or Glasgow? Would you do it when all you have to do is have a couple of good games, bang in a goal or two and be hailed as "Superkev" by the fans again? Nah, he'll take a reduced deal and stay, and so he should....

You think he'll be offered one?

Unless he shows something before season end, I don't think he'll be offered one. May not be anyways, as Coyle is trying to get rid of older players apparently....

Proud to be your total KD supporter? Old-fashioned, love an old style centre forward with balls, tough as old boots and given his all for Bolton Wanderers? Too right mate.

Too early to talk of a new contract. OC (and PG) probably waiting to see what division we're in.
