Has Moo been coaching him?m_taylor wrote:"U.S. midfielder Stuart Holden enjoyed an active first half. He launched a long-distance effort that sailed wide right in the seventh minute and fired an 18-yard shot over the crossbar in the 18th minute."

Doesn't leave much time before the end of the season. Maybe as he was injured all last season he'll be fresh and not need a vacation.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.
Re: STU-SA
Stu has made steady progress in each of his games. it will be interesting to see whether he gets the start in the final. He should be in fine form by the time he returns to bolton. Of course the last 10-15% of fitness is always the hardest to recover, and he's still not there yet. His rate of improvement is encouraging though.

Looked pretty good last night. That pich was a disgrace rolled out lengths of turf on top of the astro pitch and filled in between them with green sand. Feared the worst when they said that! Put himself about and linked up the midfield and forwards well, missing link?

Shirley we can't afford his boots contract, it was really a reference to the BN piece about there being a missing link in the team.
aye - I know - sorry! was just musing on the evolutionary use of the word "missing link" and (for some reason) Bale came to mind!
