There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Probably still has a sore nose. Upson that is.

Elmander got subbed off after 48 mins against Hungary...might have been due to an injury, he was having treatment on a head injury right before,

Text says he made a brilliant deflection to save a goal.

He did. Hart made a great safe, falls to Petrov 30 yard out who hits an absolute exocet, Cahill nods it behind for the corner.

Congrats to Mr. Cahill to finally get into a game for England. Of course it will now make it harder for me to bitch about Bolton fans never getting a shot in the England side, but a small sacrifice well worth it. Now just need to find something else to bitch about.

Yes he did.

Though he was pulled out of position in the build-up to it.

Did not see all the game but Dawson looked awful (before his injury). There must be a vacancy there.

Cahill looked unsure of positioning at times - hardly surprising - lots of practice with Jagielka before Tuesday

Half time in the Under 21 game against Lithuania. Nothing spectacular and 0-0 despite us having most possession. It's on Iraq goals if anybody wants a watch. Kids need to win this one:

Is that stream good for England later on? Long story short, I have no access to a TV.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

3-0. The difference was Wilshere when he came on. He was superb. Albrighton was very good too.

Muamba was an unused sub.

The U21s have now qualified for a play-off game to get to the finals in Denmark.

Couldn't agree more. Albrighton was mightily impressive and Wilshire was MOTM for me. Welbeck Clevely and Sturridge did well too. Maybe this lot should be playing tonight.

Welbeck took his two goals well but he didn't half waste a lot of other chances. The keeper Fielding looked a bit duff - a bit like an immobile Paddy Kenny. Still, Blackburn's gain...

Is that the mantra then ahead of the weekend

I can't wait for this fresh Bolton team to play the jaded Arse. It'll be like Wigan away 2008 all over again
