Re: Another injury FFS
'the Boyata deal was almost done beofe yesterday's game and before Steinsson's injury, so whatever he was eyed for, it wasnt as temporary replacement for injured Steinsson '
Basically.
So what i'm alluding to is that OC doesnt have magical powers of foreseeing the future. Boyata is being brought in for defensive cover in general, as opposed to as temporary cover for Steinsson in reaction to Stensson's injury yesterday, as the move was already lined up before yesteray.
Basically.

I didn't mean to imply that Boyata was being brought in because of Steinsson's injury - merely that given said injury he would be an obvious choice.
Now, after the event, not yesterday morning.

What is the status of this injury? Is it broken and if so what is the recovery time?

Steinsson really isn't that bad.
Playing Robbo on the right, and Alonso on the left however, is pretty rough.

The same Bale, whom 3 days earlier had absolutely run himself into the ground against Inter to the point where he had 2 bouts of cramp?Tals-biggest-fan wrote:I don't get why he's getting so much stick he's not as bad as everybody is making out he is.... you just have to look back to when we played Spurs and that was in the middle of when Bale was on fire and he closed him off and gave him nothing all game and offers us alot going forward and is one of the better full backs in the league when attacking.... he gives 100% every game and he doesn't do much wrong in my eyes!

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Another injury FFS
Alonso on the left, Robbo on the right won't make a major difference.
After all, the consensus seems to be that:
1) Steinsson is worse than Titus Bramble
2) We're on a hiding to nothing with our upcoming fixtures anyway

Re: Another injury FFS
The BEN placard outside my local newsagents reads 'Whites Gretar Injury Boost'. I've no doubt that Lofthouse Lower agrees with the sentiment.
