If you're one of the 1,200 and in need of light refreshment, join Enoch & me (and Pru, HMX & Devon White?) in the Eight Bells. We're aiming to be there soon after 11am. I suspect we'll also be there soon after 2:30pm.

Outside.

Possibly.

You'll be sans beer if you are outside.

I don't think so.. unless things have changed - you are allowed to take your beer outside, in fact encouraged to do so - they have a little seating area outside on the pavement, don't they - plastic "glasses"? It's been a while, though - have the rules changed??

Last time I was there (Freedman's last game) you could take your drinks out. Think there might be more competition for spots today mind!

I'll be there from about 11. There's no danger we'll sell out is there? Wouldn't think so if it's pay on the day.

The pub's website has pictures of a seating area at the front of the pub. I've been going there for our Fulham games for over 25 years and don't ever remember a ban on outside drinking (that said, I can't remember what I had for dinner yesterday!).

Outside or inside it is then. :D :pissed:

^^ fairy nuff. I've been twice & it was very heavily policed.

Enjoy it. Is Timmy 'Nandos' Ream playing?

I hope you've got this the right way round.

1) Get beer
2) Then work out what may or may not be happening.

Anyhow, today's useless beer mat fact of the day. The first two league goals ever scored anywhere in the world were by Bolton. It used to be thought that the first league goal was scored by Aston Villa, but apparently they kicked off 30 minutes later than us, by which time we were two up.

No Rob Holding. There's no suggestion that he's injured either.

Holding travelled but left out the squad. Either injured or close to being sold. Shame to lose the lad but I rather suspect that is where we are.
