I doubt it, but is he fit anyway?

Wife's under the weather today, so won't be at the game. I have a very unimpressed kid, but hopefully we win and cheer him up.

Changes from Exeter -
Toal in for Johnston (benched)
Matete in for Sheehan (benched)
Collins in for McAtee (benched)
Bench looks strong, inc Williams. Thoughts on the XI?

Nice to see Matete in there, but I would’ve liked to see Vic rather than Dion.

Little surprised Johnstone benched.
Sheehan, doesn't he know he was in the L1. TOTY, the know nowt!?!?
McAtee think possibly unlucky as neither he nor Aaron been super bright so far...

Possible we've gone for height on Toal > Johnston and indeed Collins > McAtee
Matete for the muck&bullets

Solid team picked. Evatt getting closer to his best 11 on current form... Toal and Charles maybe the exceptions. Strong bench.

Prioritising physicality at the back and (presumably) starting Toal on the left of the three ahead of Johnston is the gamble. Hopefully it'll prove to be a successful one.
I like the midfield, assuming it's a middle three, and am interested to see if it gives us a greater balance than previous selections have; if it is a three, I feel it practically has to.
I'm also firmly in the camp that Collins is a most creative outlet by a comfortably wide margin and is a must-starter, so I'm pleased to see him in the there.

It will be funny as f**k if Randell comes on, pings a long throw in and Forino scores for a 1-0 win.
Funny and also satisfactory, for now.

Evatt's just put out a team to deal with a Duff team. Nothing complicated. We'll see fairly quicky if he's got it right.
It's interesting to remove the left-footed centre back and play without a natural out for Toal to hit straight. Makes me wince, but hey.

All that's left to say is COME ON YOU WHITES....

P.S. It's my birthday today, so a win would be a lovely present...

Aye - it’s a go back to basics type team. Fair play.

Dempsey definitely in a front three when we're out of possession
