Rational post, Enoch. I second itEnoch wrote:I feel for you guys that ride the emotional rollercoaster, maybe you'd be better off following the local bowls team.
As for the pricks that go to a football match, apparently to support their team and have nothing more imaginative to offer than booing and moaning, wankers the lot of ya!
All the work that goes in Monday to Friday at a football club is what makes a team successful or not. Anyone that thinks Ferguson could pitch up here and turn the group of players we have into an overnight sensation should make an appointment at the doctors!
I remember listening to Palace fans booing as Freedman was saving their sorry arse from relegation 2010/11, I remember some of them still booing after they'd been to Old Trafford and won, whilst consolidating 2011/12. There weren't many booing this term, well at least not until he told them he was f*ucking off to manage a proper club.
We rarely witness progress happening, it just kinda washes over us.

He's not spotting the obvious though, is he?Worthy4England wrote:I think Freedman has done well to spot N'gog is a sub. A) Putting KD in the shop window for January.
B) Clueless.
C) Feckin' clueless.
Let's look at the stats. By my reckoning, Under Freedman KD has 2 goals from 8 starts. NGog has 4 goals from 2 starts.
I can understand people booing if they believed B) or C) above were true.
Good spot Dougie!

Kev is still top of our scoring charts for the season so far, right?

You sat in the North Lower and missed Haynes' header at the back post in the first half. It was arguably chance of the game!truewhite15 wrote:Booing at half time when it's 0-0 and they haven't had a chance - that's abysmally stupid. The fcukwits who booed - explain yourselves.

You seem a bit polarised. He's working a group, everything he says is tailored to garner the best reaction from the collective. I'm certain if he had a choice, he would barely ever talk to the media. To hang too much onto anything he utters in a press conference will just give folk ulcers.Wandering Willy wrote:Is that his best today?

Re: Wanderers v Charlton
Not sure about Dougie yet (not against the bloke) - what I do know is our losses have reduced - we'd lost half as many games in the first 10, as any team in the top 6 last season. We've gone from 1.1 points to 1.55 per game - Like BL3 said, not much use unless we can spring a run of wins, but an improvement - we weren't going anywhere other than further down with Coyle, but Freedman wouldn't have been my first pick. He's going to get a chance from me.Wandering Willy wrote:Dougie and Davies?Worthy4England wrote:

I don't mind if we shunt Davo out in Jan (for a decent striker - would have loved to have seen Klasnic in this Division). But I'm not having anyone telling me on this season's performances that N'gog, Sordell or Afobe are the answer either. N'gog might just about have enough to help us out if this Division, but has consistently shown he's not worth jack in the Prem (something you can't say about Davo over the course of his career)

Re: Wanderers v Charlton
See - this is where we differ. Now you would know better than me, but i would be surprised if Ngog has 3 consecutive starts with us. I would like to see him with a decent run of starts in the first team before I write him off. Let's face it, it can't be worse than what we have upfront now.Worthy4England wrote:

Ngog was good for us last season when he was actually played. He might not have scored a lot, but our results and performances were better with him on the pitch.
