No they don't. Just thought I'd help you out there. Hey, de nada. ;)
Oh aye they do senor. It can translate as "no problem" or "there's none of that" or, as I said, "think nothing of it". De nada also means "of nothing" or "it's nothing".

I like the work rate of N'Gog but he definitely needs to add more to his game. If he was a bit more technically gifted, he'd be a really good player but that lack of technical ability hurts him. Every now and then, he'll do something really good and everyone will be thinking "Why can't he do that all the time?". Sadly, most of the time he's useless on the ball.

I do think he has the potential to be really good though. Like most of these players who show signs of brilliance, there's something inside him which is promising but we rarely get to see it. I was hopeful that a season in the Championship could be so fruitful for him that it'd boost his confidence and make him a better player. I guess we'll have to see if that happens, providing he stays of course.

When you see some of the things he can do, it's remarkable that he's only scored 12 goals in nearly 100 league games for Bolton and Liverpool. I remember him playing very, very well for Liverpool in Europe and he scored quite a few but he's not capitalised on that form at all. 3 goals in 33 league games for a team which scores 46 goals in the whole season is not enough, no matter what.

I do like him though and I hope he develops into player he's probably been talked about being since he was a kid. He has a lot of potential and I hope he fulfills it with us. If he decides to leave, good luck to him and I hope we can replace him with someone who has a bit more technical ability and the same effort.

I hope we don't sell. Like mentioned, he has the potential to be a good player, and I'm interested to see how he does in the Championship. It's been a while since we've had anyone who's scored a shit load of goals for us.

That being said, if he doesn't get at the very least 10 goals plus, then he should probably give up.

There's no way anyone is going to pay what we paid for him so I can't see him going anywhere. If he decides to sit and sulk then that will make him less attractive to a prospective buyer, afterall who would want to spend money on a player who fails to deliver then demands a move?

£80k s week st the moment. China, Paris St G & some Arabs are taking a peep.

Oh, & Tal, in case it's slipped your notice, we're in Div2 next season.

Tho maybe Stretfors fancy a swap between him & N'Gog & may throw Owen in the pot too, as I KNOW he fancies coming to us right now !!
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Everything about his game is superior to almost all of our other players. Except his finishing. But then again, hardly a strong point though our squad...

Hmmm really? So he goes past players better than Lee or Petrov or Mark Davies? His passing range and ability is most certainly "not up there" and thats saying something in our squad. And then we've not even got to strength, aerial ability and power etc.....

If however you meant he's our best "technical" striker then I'd agree. Though we haven't seen Sordell and effectively we're just comparing him to K Davies. So I think its a rather moot point in that case......

Dunno why, we'll need him to play off Carroll, who we'll buy when N'gog goes for £15m.

News on the Scarlet Pimpernel in the BEN today:
Elsewhere, the club are hoping that midfield target Carlos Sanchez could be paving the way for a move to England after applying for a work permit.

The club have been frustrated in their efforts to bring the 26-year-old in for talks over the last six weeks, and have also had trouble pinning down his exact representation.

But after hinting that the deal had gone cold, the Colombia international appears to have made the first move towards playing in Europe again, after being released by French club Valenciennes at the end of last season.
Is he this summer's Thiago / Rodrigo / Veloso ?
Certainly doesnt sound like someone who is 'close to signing for us' , as i think SSN said last week.

Yep. He'll piss us about all summer before signing for Lille or someone like that.....

Sounds exciting. A Columbian international, released by a French club I've never heard of, who nobody knows the agent of, and we're making efforts to bring him in?

Why not? I presume the club have watched him and think he's good. So why not try?

My only knowledge of work permits is what I've read when we've spent months chasing some kickaball to be thwarted by John Aldridge

However, I thought they needed an offer of employment to get a WP

After all, if a player leaves us to another club, they need to apply for a new permit...I think

I think its a visa to get into the country, not a work permit. If he's an international he may well get a work permit if he's played enough games, automatically.....
