What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Bag of shite, in my humble opinion!

indeed it is - which is why - bizarrely - it is (as a one off every now and again) a guilty pleasure.

life would be dull if our sole TV menu was culled from BBC4..

(weren't you just having a very similar discussion with WtW about Vettriano?)
No, not really - I wasn't trying to say that Coach Trip "isn't TV".
ok - fair enough! 8)

watched Ashes-to-ashes last night..

found myself wondering if it has tried to squeeze in a series or two too many - but was only the first episode - so will give it another couple of weeks...

favourite Hunt line from last night...

"Ray – if you come in here again dressed like a maths teacher, I will paint your balls the colour of hazelnuts and inform a bag of squirrels winter is coming..."

fell asleep in the Mentalist (as I always do) - but the missus likes it

tonight - Doctor Who....

tonight - Doctor Who....
Last night was my first proper taste (i.e full show, rather than an advert, snippet or charity thing) of Gene Hunt. A couple of chuckles, but couldn't help but feel that everything he said had to be a killer line. Sounded hackneyed, and nowhere near the tongue in cheek parody of all things that era that I was led to believe.

Tonight, at 11.15 on Channel 4, Pan's Labyrinth. My first chance to watch this, after listening to Mark Kermode wax lyrical about it for ages.

indeed - like I said - a series too far - Hunt has become a gurning parody of himself.

watch the first series if you want to get an idea why it was great telly.... (though it is now possible that he will look dated given the over-exposure) series 1 was way better than this latest offering... "Life on Mars" - before it became Ashes to Ashes

but themn it had john Sim in it - who was a much better character than "Bolly Knickers"

I fell asleep for the middle third, and was completely lost. Quite enjoyed what I watched, but found it pretty difficult to follow. Suppose I should use my brain a bit more.

I did that one too, after "Taken" - passed a couple of hours between them, not sure I'd watch either again though.

Bish! The main character is, like, eight years old. What are you, a Roman Catholic priest?
