Ah! him.

Sorry to see Joe, he's had too many long injuries and he's probably 3rd choice right back at the moment.

Dougie said 3 out 3 in, well that's 2 now gone, Joe and Andrews, where are the ones coming in ????

Don't forget, Rivi, this is the same guy that was having all his business concluded within a week of last season ending. I don't know why he comes out with all these statements of intent - just makes a mug of himself. I discount everything he comes out with now.

He did do a lot of business early. Really think there is absolutely nothing wrong with what he said in that instance. It is what every manager says.

Incomings are now down to Eddie providing the funds so out of Freedman's hands.

And of course the 3 in 3 out is not actually what he said so you know, quotes and all that....

He did do a lot early. I'm sure he thought Juke was in the bag until Borough decided they could get more for him.

But yes, he does open mouth and only sometime later engage brain. He does have to stop it. He just leaves himself wide open. Doesn't he already know January and next Summer's targets ?

The one in, one out is logical enough and no need to spend coz he can.

I do think there will be some interesting loan availability once Premium teams declare there squads of 25.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Oh Really?!

Freedman told the Bolton News: "I believe we need three players to come into the squad before the start of the season. And that will mean three will move out, or won't play.

"I believe we need three players to come into the squad before the start of the season. And that will mean three will move out, or won’t play."

These, of course, being players that he's looking to sign / get shot of two weeks before the new season kicks off, and most markedly not within a week of the last one closing.

Still, if you'd prefer to be fished-in with any old bollocks that he blathers forth then that remains your prerogative, of course.

Did he ever say 'I will have all my business done in a week' or did he actually say 'I would like to do my business early'?

Because that quote very definitively doesn't say 'we will sign 3 and ship 3 out'.

It merely says he would like to sign 3 which would leave 3 existing players either moving or not involved.

I'm interested to find out that the finances are now all down to Eddie. Presumably this wasn't always the case?

You asked for quotes regarding three in and three out, which I've provided, and now you trying to wriggle down a route of interpretation? HAHAHA

Am I missing something? It says exactly that when boiled down. 3 in, 3 out. In a nutshell.

I already had seen the interview. I knew exactly what the quote was. It doesn't come close to three in three out. Unless a manager saying 'I believe we need to sign three' suddenly has a completely different meaning.

Allardyce used to say every season that he wanted a 20 goal a season striker and didn't sign one until Anelka. I don't remember that quote being dug up every year and used to bash him with.....

It doesn't. It very clearly says what Freedman would like to do. It is still a like rather than a 'will happen'.

A further quote....
Wishing, guessing, blaming or pointing fingers isn’t any good to us at the moment, we need strikers but we’ve only got ‘x’ amount of money.
Of course that means he has said he is going to sign a striker and if he doesn't he's talking bollocks....oh.....

He isn't saying I'm buying three and selling three. He's saying he would like three and if he gets them, some players might leave or not play. Surely that is very different than him saying 'I'm bringing three in and shipping 3 out'. It's a 'might' or 'would like to' rather than a 'this is happening'. In recent days he's given a few interviews to the BN (probably all spliced and cut from the same interview I suspect) where the gist has very much been he knows what we need and what he'd like but that requires patience as we aren't in a position to dictate these things as we don't have the money to throw around.

I suspect the quote you refer to is all a part of that.

But if you want to take that quote and bash him if we don't sign three then go ahead.......

Listen. I couldn't give a feck if he means he's going to paint his bollocks blue. You said that I couldn't find quotes relating to Dougie saying three in - three out. I have provided those quotes several times now and am quite frankly getting bored to the back fecking teeth with your 'ah, but's. I didn't refer in any part to what it is that he meant beyond the situation being, quite clearly, and I'm not going to repeat this - if we bring three players in then three players have to go. It's that fecking simple!!! Why are you finding it so difficult?
