Re: Tonight's Football
Well, they're going to have to in the away leg. As a neutral I reckon, or rather hope, that last night's result sets up a blinder for the second game. None of this 'nine men of the edge of the box' business now.BWFC_Insane wrote: Would have liked to see Fernandinho and Toure get about their midfield much more. Re: Tonight's Football
There was no way to get him high enough up the pitch with the ball to get any decent deliveries in though..BWFC_Insane wrote:Kolarov's delivery is good so I don't think it was a bad idea. I just think as Pru says they backed off too much, possibly in fear. Would have liked to see Fernandinho and Toure get about their midfield much more. Obviously wanted to put a cap on Alves, but for me, I'd be seeing Barca's right side as an area that you can attack down.
Obviously tough to play against them and there's so many things to take into account with them, but I think they could've just had a little more gusto in midfield and look at swamping Barca as much as they can to build attacks

I enjoyed the game, playing against Barcelona can be like chasing shadows.

Well, they're certainly setting the early pace. Cracking save by the BM keeper there.jaffka wrote:

Nipped out and missed the incident. I take it that Schezney must have brought someone down?

Decent goal.
They've just apologized to any viewers that saw Schezny give Robben the wanker sign, to be fair ...he is.

Re: Tonight's Football
I caught just a little of the Hull v Brighton FA Cup replay last night.
If you missed it just watch the first Hull goal. The keeper, Brezovan, should be publically executed for cowardice. Unbelievable.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
