Isn't there a thread with a link on other footy?

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "Shortly before 7.50pm on Friday 1 April 2011, police were called to Ashton New Road, Manchester, following reports two bags of special delivery mail had been stolen from a Royal Mail van.
Not nicked in Bolton - and they've arrested a postman on suspicion apparently.

I don't think it's too shabby myself =boltonboris wrote:Almost a quarter not sold.. I don't think that's too great to be honest
1) We've not got a massive following
2) We've not got loads of season ticket holders
3) Tickets are expensive
4) It'll be on telly
5) It's in London
6) A lot of people 'support' BWFC without doing anything to 'support' BWFC
7) It's in London

9) We're 'only' playing Stoke
10) Some of our fans are idiots
11) A lot of fans can't be bothered and would rather pontificate on forums than make the effort to go to games
12) I should have stopped at 5.

Same here. Most people I know are going to be there - the only one who isn't is a bit of a tit anyway so that fitsGeneral Mannerheim wrote:Disappointing but I dont know any fans who are not going, and most of the ones i know are taking hangers-on with them. where is everyone?

Re: FA Cup Semi Final Ticket Rush
I'd expected us to have sold more at this stage to be honest. It's a pity the club can't sell tickets before the game on Saturday when people are going to be at the ground anyway. If we've only sold around 3,000 this week i wouldn't expect us to sell many more than that in the remaining sales period. Sadly there will probably be a considerable number of Boltonians who are more interested in the other semi-final.
Re: FA Cup Semi Final Ticket Rush
I must admit that asking people to queue up at the ground for a receipt for a ticket rather rather than an actual ticket was a bit of a daft idea. As far as i'm aware, we are the only one of the four clubs doing that, the rest are allowing supporters to collect their tickets whilst they're there.Lofthouse Lower wrote:£5.25 postage?

Re: FA Cup Semi Final Ticket Rush
I imagine we'll end up around 28,000 possibly a few more even. Which isn't bad when you consider for a lot of home games this season we're scraping 20,000 home fans or falling short of even that.
Its sad that a large town like Bolton cannot get behind its team more but there are so many issues behind that and I think the post above sums up a large part of that.
I will say that whilst I don't really care how many we take, I'll be there, that I know some who are being far too complacent and saving themselves for "the final". Caps is bang on when he says this might be the only Wembley trip for the next 50 years for all we know it could be the only chance to see BWFC there in our lifetimes. Lets hope not but given we've not been to Wembley since its been rebuilt I'm a little surprised at some regulars who aren't going. But on the flip side some folk who had previously lost a bit of interest are now going and should it be a good day and a win wouldn't surprise me if they bought STs again.
Personally I'd not miss this game for anything given the trials and tribulations we go through this is our day in the sun at the very least and hopefully we'll be able to add another day or two like this either very soon or in the not too distant future!
