You could have posted that two weeks ago and it would've been valid.

I doubt if Tendulka, Dohni and co would see it quite like that.Lofthouse Lower wrote:You could have posted that two weeks ago and it would've been valid.

Re: creeeeeckeeeett
here comes the spectacular collapse!!
mind... if Strauss had challenged that decision - he'd still be there - 'twas a clear no-ball!

it's a bit like Peterson's reverse sweep - eventually doomed to failure!

Shame that Strauss didn't get the ton, but hey, we're absolutely dicking them!
May the bridges I burn light your way
Re: creeeeeckeeeett
the level of boredom at India's lack of fight is illustrated by the fact that someone is at home rearranging the letters of the indian bowlers' names and coming to startling conclusions!Bruce Rioja wrote:Shame that Strauss didn't get the ton, but hey, we're absolutely dicking them!
meanwhile...Another no-ball from Mishra. Someone has just pointed out to be that A. Mishra is an anagram of I. Sharma. Is this the first time in Test history that a pair of anagrams have bowled in tandem? We'll have a champagne graphic for that.
25 runs from the last 20balls...
Re: creeeeeckeeeett
it never works - not even when Bell edges a straightforward slip catch to Dravid - and it bounces straight off him....Wandering Willy wrote:Reverse jinxing?

we're doooooomed!
Re: creeeeeckeeeett
first innings liead of 62 with 8 wickets still in hand.... hmmm... I'd have taken that before we started...
Re: creeeeeckeeeett
thumping along here..
this could be a cricket score! errrr.. literally!

Re: creeeeeckeeeett
inept.....
It gets worse for India. Morgan drives Sharma straight to Sreesanth at point, and watches in disbelief as the fielder makes a horrible mess of the most straightforward catch.

The first 2 tests were fantastic to watch though.

India poor, but take nothing away from our lads. Magnificent batting display from Cook, well backed up by Strauss, Pieterssen, Morgan and Bell. India's bowlers kept at it but were well let down by the fielders. Cracking day's cricket. Just watched the highlights again on Five.

Fantastic double ton from Alistair Cook, ably backed by Morgan. 500 plus on the board and well in charge. Keep it going lads.

First electronic scoreboard packs up,now floodlights gone. India play it crafty by asking for the new ball, can't have it because of the light, so play stops. Hope they're going to make this break the tea one.
Edit, they're not. Play resumes.
