Tonight's Football

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

I don't feel the same way Worthy. Losing being a man up for 30 minutes?

Well I guess it would be fun to see QPR come straight back down? :conf:

Can't win against any number of men with no cutting edge.
Weren't they the top scorers in the Division?

They must have some cutting edge. Gutted for Derby.
On the day they didn't have any. Too much pissing around for me, looks nice but I rarely ever thought they were about to score.
QPR's first shot on target was the one that went in. And they have Joey Barton. Wankers.

Derby's fault that for double-dogshit defending in the last minute when it wanted sending down the park. Reckon it'd have been a different story AET.

I don't know about football but some of these players in the champions league final would do a cracking job in Olympic diving!

Fantastic game spoiling performance from Atletico so far. Agree with Gary Neville, I love watching this sort of performance.

Just completely killing the game.

One QPR fan I have on Facebook. Just one. And he's hailing Zamora as a god. After three goals in a season. Apparently he scores when he wants now

Rotherham next season it is. Orient have no-one but themselves to blame, to be fair. Personally I'd rather have seen Orient win it rather than Rotherham and their odious nice person of a manager.

Brilliant play off final, played in the proper manner, sadly the Yorkies won on penalties but I feel they deserved it. I can now publish my league table for next season. Rotherham is a shithole.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

'Rotherham is amongst the leaders in advanced manufacturing in the UK. The smaller (CNS) site based close to the old Templeborough Melting Shop & Rolling Mills site produces hot rolled narrow strip to high tolerances for the aeronautical and agricultural industries.
The town's economy, when combined with that of Sheffield, is growing faster than Leeds and Manchester. In July 2010, statistics from Yorkshire Forward showed that Rotherham had attracted new investment and industry from abroad. The Advanced Manufacturing Park has attracted major companies including Rolls Royce and Castings Technology International (Cti). Technology developed on the AMP is utilised in leading edge projects within Formula One and the next generation of military and commercial aircraft, including the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Financial company Norton Finance are based in the town; employing 250 people at their head office'.

Is that the same Corus who were in Redcar? Salford is often described as a fast growing city yet it still has higher unemployment then anywhere else in Greater Manchester.

I neither know nor care. What I am doing is posting some points that suggest that Rotherham's far from 'a shithole'. Have you anything to support your claim that it is?

Great achievement by Fleetwood today, nice early success for Graham Alexander as manager too (our Owen taught him all he knows!) but the following quote amazed me...

(Nathan) Pond's involvement in the only goal of the game highlighted the dramatic rise of a club who were playing in the North West Counties League just nine years ago, and had last appeared at Wembley as FA Vase finalists in 1985.

The 29-year-old defender has ended his testimonial year with his own personal double hat-trick of promotions, having made his debut for the Lancashire club in front of just 81 fans more than a decade ago.
