How did he play today? Did he get the assist for the 2nd goal? Sounds like he had a good game?Bruce Rioja wrote:Gooner Girl wrote:

'Assist' I'm not sure is significant enough a word, he did all the work before playing it perfectly into Klasnic's run (whose finish was superb).Gooner Girl wrote:How did he play today? Did he get the assist for the 2nd goal? Sounds like he had a good game?Bruce Rioja wrote:Gooner Girl wrote:

Ryo's currently the only player at our place that can take a corner that does't hit the first defender. After seeing Eagles nice person a well-positioned free-kick into the wall today gives me hope that Coyle may even grow the nuts to put him on free-kicks.

10/3/2012 - The day Owen Coyle manned the feck up...
..we needed a goal, he brought on our top scorer
..we needed to hang on to the lead, he brought on our best defensive midfielder.
From the outside it seems so simple but if its true that he's had differences with both over the last few months, than it must have taken a little bit of swallowing the old pride, and thank fook he did.
Now..send forth the spy! (let the people gloat

So if you were Owen Coyle, that's what you'd be telling the players this week is it?Hoboh wrote:3 points, job done, anything else is irrelevant, next?

Re: QPR thread
So once again hope is there, but we'll probably be brought back to earth at White Hart lane next week, and then again at Villa Park on the Tuesday. Both teams on poor runs at the moment, but a game against us should change their fortunes.
Two crunch games after that v Blackburn and Wolves. Oh to be a wanderer !!!!!!!!
Anyway, the win was all that mattered today and we got it, no matter how lucky we were and how unlucky they were. 3 points nearer survival, and I reckon another 9 will be enough (maybe less) looking at remaining fixtures.

Nawww just my own opinion
Re: QPR thread
Fecking delighted! It was eerie as it went through to Klasnic, time slowed down this is our season, thank fook it's him stylee!
Mark Hughes can go and feck off, he really is a whinging cnut. I understand him being frustrated, they scored first and didn't get it, but he keeps going on about the officials not giving them decisions 'for whatever reasons'. Lino didn't give it coz he was on the other side and Boggers was in the way, couldn't give it. He really, really ought to get a touchline ban for what he is insinuating. Always been a terrible loser. Added to the fact their goal was offside. Or, according to Hughes, 'slightly offside' whatever the feck that is. Good manager, absolute cock-end. Don't think they'll have enough. Thought they were really poor today. First half we completely outplayed them. The individuals are there, and they created chances, but given their run in, I don't think that will be enough.
Also, as Bruce says above, nice to be able to be nice to the manager. Got it spot on today (by which I mean, other than starting Pratley, who was shit, again, but did score, he did everything I would have done
). Been too many false dawns to think he has finally twigged not to do mental shit, but it just feels good to win.

Yes you're right, he is, and let this be a reminder to those who wanted him to replace Coyle a couple of months ago.
Yes Coyle to go but we need to get the right man in.

See I thought Ryo had a good game and it was a superb piece of play to play in klasnic. But I'd not let him take another corner again. Barely got the thing off the ground let alone past the first man!

You'd obviously gone for several pisses when he sent them to the back post but no-one attacked the ball then?!BWFC_Insane wrote:Bruce Rioja wrote:'Assist' I'm not sure is significant enough a word, he did all the work before playing it perfectly into Klasnic's run (whose finish was superb).Gooner Girl wrote:How did he play today? Bugger that feels good doesn't it
Nowhere near outstanding. Poor at times but to win it like we did and then fight to stay in the lead was the best thing for me.
Happy for Pratley too.
Bring on Blackburn at home now.

Re: QPR thread
I see the entire footballing world is up in arms at the dreadful over-the-line failure of the officials for the 'goal' that definitely was being unjustly disallowed...
Apparently this could send QPR down (this myth is being carefully fostered and nurtured all around Shepherds Bush even as i post)...
The Missing Link is the equally-well-attested-and-evidenced offside goal that brought things level...
To a number of us this looked liked the officials making up for the previous error (in a sense, fair enough, rough justice - but good, as it happens)...
I know all the arguments, but the officials fecked up twice, and the two teams had it all to play for... One scored, the other didn't... Was it really so unjust? How?

Re: QPR thread
Did nobody else thinked Ream looked dodgy? He lost pretty much everything in the air and seemed off the pace of the game. Fair enough he is still getting used to the game but he had me on edge at more than one point today.
Muamba needs to be on the pitch from the start for me as well. I heard today that him and coyle have had a fall out because he keeps turning up late. Forget that, we need to stay up. I dont care if he turns up 30 minutes into the game he will do more than Pratley.
Klasnic is a hero. But i still wouldnt have him on from the start. He is clinical when we need a goal when the opposition defence is tired. Ngog does more work off the ball throughout the game. Doesn't score enough, yes, but if we come out with three points from him working hard up there and then Klasnic scoring the winner then im happy.

The same Ream that always looked comfortable in possession and got those vital blocks in? That one?wanderer10 wrote:Did nobody else thinked Ream looked dodgy? Re: QPR thread
The Muamba situation is an odd one. If he's done something wrong like being late for training then surely he wouldn't even be on the bench?
