Ha. Trying hard not to veer into Peter Kay territory, what ever happened to them?!

Well that was a big disappointment. Couple of decent early songs and the encore was good but hour and a bit in the middle was dire at times. Felt like I'd heard the same mediocre song 10 times in a row. Plus the sound was poor.

You should, only a couple of hours from kings cross and I think you can get cheap tickets depending on what time you travel and if you book in advance (I got one cheap coming back from Paris last year for about 35 quid, and then crashed at a mates place in London. That was only a few weeks in advance too).

Yeah, there's f*ck all at Gare du Nord, but you're only about 5-10 min on the Metro/RER depending where you want to go. Saint Michel, which is by the Seine, near Notre Dame, and has a load of pedestrian cobbled streets and markets and bars is two stops on the RER. Arc de Triomphe about 10 mins, Eiffel Tower about 10. Louvre a bit less.

That's going to cost about £250 for the return fair. Enjoy

Wasn't most of it filmed in Greenwich?

That'd be a lot cheaper :D.

Girls love that shit. Yours is basically a classier version of what I got her for Xmas.

Wrapped up a DVD of Les Mis in fancy paper and made out she'd love the present, and hid the tickets for a weekend in Paris inside. Was concerned she'd chuck it away in fury before opening it, mind.

I thought it was romantic and funny. She said I was a cock.

£328 just for the trains?! Or hotel as well? If you book early enough you can get a return for £66 each I think.
