Nothing that Sam likes better than talking about himself especially if he can slip it into the conversation how great he is.

To be fair hard to imagine he could have done much worse than McLaren but I am far from convinced he would have done much better either. You could imagine the press would have slaughtered him right from him getting the job

Yeah, watched the show today - despite him talking out of his arse about the reasons he left Bolton being well documented it was an interesting watch.
That clip where he was a Newcastle and all the fans were chanting "you don't know what you're doing" was uncomfortable to say the least. I almost felt sorry for the guy. Almost.
