Whats Harry Hills TV Burp?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

A supposedly comedic review of the weeks' television, hosted by Harry Hill. It's about as funny as this 'TW Spy' nonsense.

I was once berated for making an opinion on the xbox do dah thread. Was told basically, if I didn't like it, don't read it. There's plenty of other stuff on here to keep you amused (or not).

Why don't you try posting something that does make you smile? Some other people on here could read it and express their opinion. Or, they could read it, decide they didn't like it, and read something else.

It seems to me, General and Cheese, that you were born without the schadenfreude gene. This may make you better people than many of the rest of us. I can understand why the General does not like the Spy's efforts. They tend to be lengthy and he has the self-confessed attention span of a retarded gnat. What I don't understand is why it is necessary to belittle a fellow posters efforts which many obviously enjoy. Why not just ignore it or, twice a year, read the KUMB highlights which are worth waiting for?

I enjoy the thread. Sometimes when following a thread on this site when Bolton are behind in a game, some outrageous comments get made. Yes similar threads could be done by other teams of this site, and you know what they would also be funny. Some football fans become such drama queens especially during the progress of a game. I think it is an opportunity to laugh at ourselves as football fans, without actually having to laugh at ourselves personally. Lighten up and if this thread is not for you, I'm sure that there are threads that you do like. I will continue to post thanks everytime the spy makes a contribution because I appreciate his efforts, and the 12 yr old boy in my enjoys it.

Since when did this (or any other) forum become a sanctuary of approval?

In something of an ironic twist, those who are castigating me for my negative opinion of this thread, are themselves expressing their displeasure at a fellow posters' contribution. By your own advice, you should be simply ignoring my criticism and moving on...

Well, actually no. Because I'm expressing an opinion of your criticism of a poster making a contribution to the forum. If I don't like something YOU submit I'll (not) let you know. Do you see?

I wasn't criticizing or castigating you, Cheese, - indeed I said you were probably a better person than some others. I just said I didn't understand why you bothered to read it after a couple of Spy reports.

I assure you, I am no better a person than any other human being.

I read it for the same reason everyone else reads it. I just don't find it very entertaining.
This may seem something of a hypocrisy at first glance, but how can I judge it without reading it in the first place?

You obviously don't, as I was talking about submitting an article rather than criticising someone else's.

Which is why I said after reading a couple of Spy reports to test the waters. There is also a significant difference in giving an opinion and preparing a feature. We should be more cautious about criticizing the latter IMHO.

Unless you clarify such things in your posts, I am unaware of what you are 'talking about' in your head.

Once I've expressed an opinion in the reply window and clicked the 'submit' button, I consider that to be a 'submission'.

Fair enough, but this all started with me simply agreeing with the opinion of someone else. I didn't notice him recieving this much attention...
