The third red was in a game against Birmingham (after a second yellow).

That goes down as one of the worst decisions I've ever seen. Gardner was the one fouled right in front of the Bolton end and the ref gave it against him. Remember being absolutely livid.Little Green Man wrote:The third red was in a game against Birmingham (after a second yellow).

Okocha scored a cracking volley at the far post but we ended up being beaten comprehensively 3-1. Pelted with coins and fireworks on the way out by the wonderful Brum fans too.
Made up for it a few years later I think with that last minute Nolan winner, following a masterclass in the lone striker role by Mr. Diouf!
Wow, gone off in a tangent there!
The Sherpa Van Trophy! We've won it one time!

Bruno, for a brilliant old-school paternal cuff round the back of Tim Cahill's head.Owen_Coyle wrote:Thought that was N'Gotty or Emerson Thome maybe?seanworth wrote:Might be making an idiot of myself again but didn't he get one against Everton at the end of one season. We were down at the time and came back and won the game with 10 players.

Ricky G getting another run out tonight at left back against Scunthorpe United in a bottom of the table clash. Hopefully he'll help them turn it around. Also Danny Ward is on the bench for the Brentford game.
