So I would choose with him, as he is a good player and like I said the money is worthless if you lose 40m dropping out the division. I would have even played him up front instead of someone like N'gog if your manager was so intent on playing someone like Ream who just wasn't up to speed when he came to the league.

It a bit like a nightclub which is about to kick off, the bouncers (mods) are watching the trouble maker and giving him one last chance before they grip him and eject him...feck that I am a peace lover and going to the barLiOC wrote:Well you obviously haven't even been watching our defence all season. We would probably have gone down with Cahill too, our defence was arguably worse while he was here. who do you support karma?
Re: Help me understand....
I didn't say there were any 20m bids lined up, I said I could understand IF there was. My point was that 7 million or so isn't a suitable offer considering what's at stake for your whole club in the bigger picture. You should have kept him as he had a contract unless they mean nothing at an 'honest club' But hey as long as Cahill gets to play in the champions league after villas boas got the sack then that's ok you don't need the premier league you're an honest clubNotakalou wrote: I forgot all these £20m bids lining up for him, the bid came in with a good price for a player with 6 months on his contract. We're an honest club and if one of our players has the chance to go and play in the Champions League and a suitable offer is on the table, we're not going to deny him the opportunity.

I see you haven't yet progressed from numb c*ntishness.

Incorrect, I was pointed here on twitter whilst bored at work and only seen it tonight. I was surprised to be honest always liked Bolton gave big allocations cheap tickets but never knew you had some pathetic fans. I'm just returning the favour but with home truths and not celebrating it.Harry Genshaw wrote:And you've harboured that bitterness until now? Wow, you think we have pathetic fans so you decided to sink to our level and come on to wind us up? How mature. Random predictions that noone can prove made on watching Cahill/Ream on MotD don't equal home truths.Karma wrote: Incorrect, I was pointed here on twitter whilst bored at work and only seen it tonight. Re: Help me understand....
So we should gamble on losing him on a free and just hope that his performances after this disapointment single handedly pull us out of trouble. We were in a relegation fight with him and he wasn't exactly performing well, we were in a relgation fight without him it was always going to be that way. If you honestly believe that keeping Cahill would have solved all our problems then I seriously under estimated your stupidity.Karma wrote:I didn't say there were any 20m bids lined up, I said I could understand IF there was. I'm at work bored so why not I might as well return the favour. They are home truths, your manager is terrible, ream and sordell were terrible buys, you didn't finish far off safety, you should have kept cahill as you'd have a better chance of staying up if he is champions league quality, the 7million wasn't a good dealLiOC wrote:Wow, you think we have pathetic fans so you decided to sink to our level and come on to wind us up? That's a few of the home truths, maybe you don't agree because you're in denial and coyle has brainwashed you lot with his outrageous positivity.
