I did say 4-0 Whites, but to be clear, we'll shit 'em.

Lolos and Collins unlucky to miss out, for me.
I’m not a huge fan of McAtee in that withdrawn role, and think Lolos is a more natural fit there.
Whilst traditional numbering of positions is probably pretty much dead now, I think we have four of what would have historically been called ‘nines’ and Collins is the best of them. Maybe he doesn’t run around as much as the others, but he’s better at putting the ball in the net.

I do like the mind games leading up to this.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2024 12:07 pmIt was cunning. Very cunning.
There's Tutu or JDC for RWB. It might be one or the other, let's blindside 'em with that thought! Masterstroke.
As for the lineup, i'm not exactly under the impression Vic is ripping up trees but he's probably the best suited to acting as a foil. McAtee is hopefully sitting just behind the strike pair as I don't think the three up top really suits us in challenging games and I fully expect this one to be one of those.
Welcome back to Will Aimson, quite like the guy, but hopefully he is upset after a good pie smashing.
Our wingbacks look especially strong today given previous iterations. If we can make good use of them today I think we'll get a good result.
Just get stuck in lads!

Ooooo, Dion getting stuck in and their player looking like he landed on his head. Looks okay though thankfully, but that could've been a sore one.
Re: Lies, damned lies and now the damned tics. Wigan (H) Saturday 12.30pm
Our opponents with the brighter start, yet again.
Re: Lies, damned lies and now the damned tics. Wigan (H) Saturday 12.30pm
They'll be wanting an early start to make our heads go as per previous games.
We're playing about at the back through Matete, who we've seen fluff his lines previously. We're just asking for trouble when we do that, especially when they've got loads in our box.
Wake up Wanderers!
That chance should be 1-0 to Wigan. Urgh.

How did he miss that? Should be 1 down.

Johnston has started terribly.
Re: Lies, damned lies and now the damned tics. Wigan (H) Saturday 12.30pm
FFS Baxter to Santos, then poor touch out for a throw in. Stupid tactic in a game like this.
Johnston had no options there with facing his goal. They're not helping our players with passing like that.

Two of our centre backs booked already.
Re: Lies, damned lies and now the damned tics. Wigan (H) Saturday 12.30pm
Terrible passing, hospital ball from Tutu, well recovered from Santos, but he gets a yellow for his troubles.
Here's a suggestion, stop passing to our centre-backs when they're under pressure!
We're at least getting stuck in.
Don't want to be seeing any more floated free kicks to their keeper though.

Absolute shit c*nts
Re: Lies, damned lies and now the damned tics. Wigan (H) Saturday 12.30pm
Absolutely fkin shite yet again. Matete and Johnston to blame. Completely wrong side of their man. Credit to Johnston for getting goal side and then putting in a challenge, but damage is done from the early moment.
Can't blame Evatt for shit performances, but can blame him for shit tactics against Wigan yet again.
