Re: Liverpool laughing stocks?
I expect he got tired of defending his club against a constant stream of vitriol - haven't seen anything from him for a month or more.

Re: Liverpool laughing stocks?
Not laughing stocks, national disgraces, from the club who stirred it up to the fans who blindly follow the cult of Dalglish.

BBC:
if this is about what Athers posted - and if it turns out to be true - then Liverpool should be thrown out of the FA Cup.There is, perhaps inevitably, some work for the police to deal with after today's meeting between Liverpool and Manchester United. An investigation has begun into allegations of racist gestures by fans.

Re: Liverpool laughing stocks?
... and if photos could be found which suggested that one or two morons did it at the Reebok today should we be kicked out of the FA Cup? Catch the gobshites that did it, ban them from the club for life and bang them up for racially motivated crimes. But punish the club, even if it is Liverpool? I think not.
God's country! God's county!
God's town! God's team!!
How can we fail?
COME ON YOU WHITES!!

Re: Liverpool laughing stocks?
Exactly. Bish is right. If Terry is found guilty they should chuck Chelsea out too. And Stoke.

Re: Liverpool laughing stocks?
more seriously - of course you cannot hold a club responsible for one man's idiocy (if, indeed, that's what it is - and not summat entirely innocent)
but..
if the investigation reveals that Liverpool stewards saw/heard and ignored the incident (and if it was as it looks) - then I DO think the club have some responsibility...

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
