I enjoyed Sherlock Homes in a non-canonical sort of way - they're making another one though I believe.

I watched it over three sittings in the end, which tells its own story, really.Lofthouse Lower wrote:I enjoyed Sherlock Homes in a non-canonical sort of way - they're making another one though I believe.

I quite often do that, sometimes with films I've thoroughly enjoyed!Bruce Rioja wrote:I watched it over three sittings in the end, which tells its own story, really.Lofthouse Lower wrote:I enjoyed Sherlock Homes in a non-canonical sort of way - they're making another one though I believe.
I thought Sherlock Holmes was okay.. Just a fun, easy watch for me.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
me too, especially if im watching it at home with our Maude and the little 'un is upstairs. Into the Wild & 127 hours were a couple recently viewed over several sittings, the weird thing is my missus can watch half of a film and never go back to it, even if she’s enjoying it! I can’t, I have to watch them in their entirety even if they’re not that good. Re 127, she didn’t even see him cut his arm off!
I use it as a mark of a real belter when you can’t stop watching till it’s finished, no matter what!

Just looked forwards through the weeks schedule and there's loads of stuff I want to see. In addition to Boardwalk Empire there's the pilot shows and first series of ER and then series 7 and series 8 of 24, all of which I missed first time around.Lofthouse Lower wrote:SKY ATLANTIC

I watched Gypsy weddings last night to see what the fuss was all about.
Made me more sad at their caveman attitude to women than want to take the piss.

What Caps says... and as for Jeremy Kyle, I don't watch it and when I have I don't particularly approve of the public way people on there wash their emotional linen.CAPSLOCK wrote:Who said fair or typicalthebish wrote:hmmm... but does that mean that the Jeremy Kyle show is a fair representation of your attitudes to relationships?ratbert wrote:I watched Gypsy weddings last night to see what the fuss was all about.

indeed - and several gypsies I have spoken to don't approve of the behaviour shown in "Gypsy Wedding" - it is no more representative of your average gypsy family than Jerly Kyle's fodder-families are representative of yours...

Well quite. Not until they go and trash the Three Crowns, Little Lever every other Saturday night will it be representative of your average gypsy family.thebish wrote:ratbert wrote:
