When the CP board were uttering threats and not renewing Dougie's contract, surely they must have thought at some stage he would walk. You don't let someone put a gun to your head and then insist on pulling the trigger yourself. Be interesting to see how many eel chomping, feck you landener, pearly king and queen WEST CROYDONer, make the trip to The Reebok. Crystal Palace my arse. What was left of it was burned down in the riots. Massive improvement all round. 8)

Are you pissed up or something Paddy? I haven't got a clue what you're all excited about; your last couple of posts just look like a random collection of words.

They're probably a code for PaddyPower odds on Crystal Palce winning the U.E.F.A. Cup.

You would think Palace fans would be cautiously optimistic about there current form.. They have seen things go tits up many times in the past and seem to be getting ahead of themselves about promotion with 30 odd games still to go.

I wonder if we will see them back on here mid or late season if things have gone tits up. Especially when Zaha more than likely goes in January.

Palace were one of the originators of all that marketing bullshit that infects the game these days. They've changed everything from their club colours to their club nickname over the years. The whole 'ultras' thing is part of a long tradition of attention-seeking.

A TW exclusive! 'Owen Coyle rules himself out of the running for the Crystal Palace job'. :)
