Pretty sure last time we were limited to window-to-window. Sammi for example went back to Newcastle.
No idea on this kid but wingers also a must. Buckley played under Hillcroft before so wouldn't be a surprise. Politic, Verlinden and 2 more would be ideal

He's done nothing for us so far but you'd take him at League One levelBWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2019 1:17 pmOne rumour I heard - guessing won't be confirmed today - is that Buckley is very close to re-signing.

Talk of Morais (the postman) returning?

Going to Lincoln apparently. Not us.

Unsure about Buckley. Quality isn't a problem, when he's fit. But he, you know, never is.

The problem is you can see in his body language that he's scared of getting injured. I wonder if Hill might get the best out of him? He's quite a good technical player but Parky put emphasis on him beating his man - which isn't his game. Hill might get more bodies round him for the triangles that Buckley seems to favour.

Strong talk of Jake Wright (Sheffield United) joining (apparently)
But still no striker?

Problem with 6 month loans is we may be re-rebuilding in Jan, again. We need a consistent so to get out of the mire. Last thing you want is a team just clicking being ripped apart again at Christmas. Could well be the EFL setting the limit though, the cnuts.

Talk that Bridcutt and Murphy are having their Forest contracts terminated to sign for us. Now that would be amazing. Way better quality than I expected. Lets hope its true.

Talk of Forest cancelling the contracts of Murphy and Bridcutt to "allow them to join Bolton Wanderers"

Think Pru is right - EFL set window to window limit last time. We kept James Henry but lost Sammy.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2019 1:42 pmProblem with 6 month loans is we may be re-rebuilding in Jan, again. We need a consistent so to get out of the mire. However, I don't think its a huge issue - we can re-evaluate in January. Save money for future rebuild if necessary or try and keep what we have if there is even a glimmer of survival hope.

Yeah bang up for that. Sort of signings that would give a bit of hope we might not be doomed.
Re: Buckley, Iles was talking about him maybe playing in the middle which might be "his best position". Not sure about that! (And assume he means 10 rather than 9!).

If he scores winners in each of his first two games as Yanic did, I'd be delighted!bristol_Wanderer3 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2019 1:19 pmI learned from Yanic that wardrobes at traveling at 20mph don't make effective Championship wingers

Yeah, he seemed a good finisher did Yanic. I am sure there was a way to get more out of him, than having him following the opposition full back to the edge of our penalty area. Hopefully Hill will be more flexible tactically...Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2019 1:47 pmIf he scores winners in each of his first two games as Yanic did, I'd be delighted!bristol_Wanderer3 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2019 1:19 pmI learned from Yanic that wardrobes at traveling at 20mph don't make effective Championship wingers

Excellent signing, both Bridcutt & Verlinden are great signings for League 1
