I've seen him change games at both ends of the pitch - great when he does it at the oppo's end, not so hot when he's giving the ball away in our half, not chasing it back and giving the LB no cover whatsoever.

Sad to see his skill leave us, but overall not upset that his wages would leave the wage bill, and on balance, the amount of game changers he played Vs what he's been paid - not something we can afford, I suspect.
Damn right.

Justice for Robbo.
Shall we get together and record a charity single for him?

'He Aint Heavy...Oh Wait, He Is!'

It's a long, long roooooad
From Bolton to Birmingham
While he's on the way to there
Who would care

And his caaaaaaarrrr
Is loaded up with pies, and chips........
Yes, that's Robbo
Full of blubberrrrrrrr.....

Heard Petrov was on 25K a week. Jeez. He wasn't worth it.

All this talk of changing games, I can't remember him actually doing that very often.

If Petrov is going I'd love to see Marcos Alonso tried out as a winger

Obvious ability but I don't think we ever were in a position to get the best out of him.

A luxury player in every sense of the word, but playing alongside the likes of M. Davies, Eagles and Klasnic during his time here we often were over-run when we didn't have the ball.

All the best to him, but won't be shedding any tears.

Ah, you've joined the "us" gang then. At least my views, right or wrong, are my own.
so what IS your own view as to why KD never got on the end of Petrov's ace crosses??
Give it a rest Bish. You tell everybody instead. I'm sure you'll be glad to.
That's because I can hardly call KD ever nodding a ball in from a whipped cross from a winger. KD is awful at getting on the end of crosses. It's a false perception that just because he's a big man that can win flick ons that he's a decent attacker with the head, when he's not.

Petrov occasionally does put good crosses in, but he's a tart and won't be missed. We need bollocks in this league, not tarts on big wages so I'm happy to see him go.

Wow. That put paid to my theory that footballers are required then.

What is your stance on vicars? Do we need those?

I'm glad he's going, lazy and soft.

I don't wish him ill though, he showed at least a willingness to try to be less lazy and soft, but he couldn't do it. And no-where, not even close, to being good enough to get away with that.

Luxury as in we can't afford to carry a lazy tosser who let's be honest is't that good :conf:

The odd decent ball in the box and a decent penalty taker if that's what you count as luxury then you must have very low standards

Maybe because he isn't "a lazy toser" ... and he IS that good .... we've just not used him well.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Damn right.

Justice for Robbo.
Indeed on the count of being jointly and severally liable, we'll go for the lesser charge of accessory after the fact (knew the perpetrator and aided in his escape from punishment by being equally shite). It was a cover up.

Now - onto the 1,100 individual charges to be taken into account...
