Undoubtedly a handy player to have on the bench was Petrov, when you have the luxury of 7 subs.

I've seen him change games at both ends of the pitch - great when he does it at the oppo's end, not so hot when he's giving the ball away in our half, not chasing it back and giving the LB no cover whatsoever.

Sad to see his skill leave us, but overall not upset that his wages would leave the wage bill, and on balance, the amount of game changers he played Vs what he's been paid - not something we can afford, I suspect.

Obvious ability but I don't think we ever were in a position to get the best out of him.

A luxury player in every sense of the word, but playing alongside the likes of M. Davies, Eagles and Klasnic during his time here we often were over-run when we didn't have the ball.

I'm glad he's going, lazy and soft.

I don't wish him ill though, he showed at least a willingness to try to be less lazy and soft, but he couldn't do it. And no-where, not even close, to being good enough to get away with that.
