Not sure why we are playing Baxter when we've got Southwood and Coleman waiting for a game. Presumably both injured or out of favour (perhaps the case with Coleman).

Southwood will be with Northern Ireland, won't he? I thought it was odd too, but it just clicked with me a minute ago.

Ah indeed, and that adds further to the fact that Coleman's out of favour. Probably not cup tying him will help him get a move elsewhere, or add further to the unwanted feeling?

Either way, i'd've been happier had Coleman started this one. Baxter missed quite a bit of the season last year, this is a pointless game.

The bench is entirely youth team. Evatt's never completed a game and not made a sub. He'll be giving the youngsters a go, despite it not being a starting XI.
