When you cease to be pleased with Wenger's transfer deadline activity and recant your words. Let me know - it might be worth a trip home.Gooner Girl wrote:I see. Thats a very impressive town hall.

Cahill to score two against them to secure a 3-0 win in our upcoming game. Oh and for K. Davies to go go around Merdesucker to score the other goal. I think that might be enough for Wenger to completely lose the plot.Annoyed Grunt wrote:Could it get any worse for you lot?Gooner Girl wrote:Wilshere out til November!![]()

Wilsheres injury was in a pre season game, not training.
Seanworth, Wenger may have lost the plot before the Bolton game at this rate

I think he simply means that Arsenal seem to have a very high rate of injuries, and not just this season. What does Wenger do in his training that results in most of his players ending up injury prone. Personally I always thought that Wenger used to rush players back, especially players like Fabs, which often results in them getting another injury. I wonder if this is the case with Wilshere. Did Wenger allow him to start training before he was fully fit. To me the teams that always seem to have the most injuries are Spurs and Arsenal. Could be wrong. Big Sam due to his training techniques always seem to have relatively few injuries, and often with older players.Gooner Girl wrote:Wilsheres injury was in a pre season game, not training.

We do seem to have a high rate of injuries and i'm not sure how to say this without sounding a smug, condescending gooner (sorry, its not meant to be!) but i have always largely put it down to the type/style of football we play. We have some very fast players, we play quick one touch stuff and occasionally our opponents seem one step behind (Man Utd excluded obviouslyseanworth wrote:I think he simply means that Arsenal seem to have a very high rate of injuries, and not just this season. Except you are leading the league in red cards this season, and I think you led the league last season as well. Or do you mean that your players are injuring themselves when going in late with wild tackles. Maybe check to see how injury prone Barcelona are. I have no idea, but I suspect it has more to do with players being brought back from injury too soon, or playing when not fully fit than it has with the rest of the league being bullies. Football is hardly the most dangerous game on the planet yet your team gets more injuries than a rugby team.Gooner Girl wrote:We do seem to have a high rate of injuries and i'm not sure how to say this without sounding a smug, condescending gooner (sorry, its not meant to be!) but i have always largely put it down to the type/style of football we play. Its just a theory, maybe its not all the story, perhaps Wenger does rush players back too quick, but we have one of the best back room staff in the game so i really don't think it can be that

I don't think i said the rest of the league were 'bullies', and i am fully aware we are currently leading the red card table, though not sure what that has to do with our injuries.seanworth wrote:Except you are leading the league in red cards this season, and I think you led the league last season as well.
