Me too, absolutely brilliant I could have watched that all day long. I loved seeing those dolphins interact with the mirror and the bubble machineGary the Enfield wrote:I watched that 'Giants of the Deep' on BBC1

Brutal stuff.
Try this one on for size. What connects the following four words?
Commander; Colonel; Caretaker; Dashing
"Young people, nowadays, imagine money is everything."
"Yes, and when they grow older they know it."
"Yes, and when they grow older they know it."

Watched Anthony Hopkins in "The Rite". The bish might find some interest, not one for WTW though since the rite in question is excorcism.

Still on the BBC version of 'Pride and Prejudice' complete with husband ruining the smouldering romance of it all with stupid voiceovers... Tsk! Men!

Dug out Havana Nights (Dirty Dancing 2). Crap film (so much a steal of the original it's embarrasing). Worth a watch for the great music tracks though..

Ahhhh, Dirty Dancing and Patrick Swayze, LOVE that film... Never seen the sequel though, heard it was crap. Does it have Swayze in it?TANGODANCER wrote:Dug out Havana Nights (Dirty Dancing 2). Aye, but he just plays a minor part in it. He looked ill and wasted even then.Gooner Girl wrote:Ahhhh, Dirty Dancing and Patrick Swayze, LOVE that film... I had to study Dirty Dancing for one of my a-level projects.
Never again.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Hey,the concept was quite good. Some corn in it, but the whole film hinged on the scene where Jennifer Grey went down their cabin steps for the first time and turned her life upside down. End of "age of innocence" and all that. Another real good musical score right through it and of course, it had Cynthia Rhodes.Verbal wrote:I had to study Dirty Dancing for one of my a-level projects.
