And so it continues. I'm going to blush in a minute. This in an email from a girl in Wisconsin that I've been doing some work with (and apparently flirt with :whack: )

Instead I was connected to Bruce Rioja who has been really awesome

Up to now, my mate's Mrs has called me "An absolute star", girl from the travel agents who sorts all my travel shite out called me "Way too nice", and favourite colleague has told me that she "Lurves" me.

I could get used to this.

And you lot can all go feck yourselves :)

But Brucie Baby, we love you too!

Can you all stop shouting? Just got my new hearing aids and the difference is amazing. Even the sound of typing this seems loud. It'll be the first time I've heard birds sing for years. :D

Get in there man. Mine were worse than bad and a neighbour persuaded me to go visit the doc and get a referal. Audiology people were absolutely ace and as I said, the difference is unbelievable.

Onya, TANGO! I'm ever so pleased for you that you finally got them and that they work for you. Bloody good aren't they? Perhaps now your good wife will not have to put up with 'pardon?' and 'what was that, love' or 'eigh?' ever again.

This, because it gave me a good laugh.

Apparently, a Romanian, in court in Nelson with two others, nicked 600 quid's worth of gear from Morrisons. In court he claimed he was a shepherd. When asked why he was wearing a suit he claimed he had left his sheperd's clothes at home.

My gran's 100 today. Lovely day, only slightly marred by a telegram from Iain Duncan-Smith.

Congrats to her on a good innings. Doesn't the Queen send telegrams anymore?

... and someone has to request it. The Give. doesn't sit there running it's fingers through birthday lists.

Congrats LGM's Gran.

According to her website she still does it. Though it seems, as Bobo suggests, one should send a reminder to the Anniversaries Office.

I thought we'd have to request one but the DWP sent a letter and then had someone come out to check her birth certificate and that she was still alive and kicking.

Ta for the wishes. Got her doing the dishes now while we swig the rest of the fizz.
