Re: Megson Watch
When Sheff Wed lose I can't help reading their report, linking into the Megson interview, which are normally like 5-10 minutes long, feeling huge relief that the twaddle he has just spoken is not related to our club, then feeling sadness, even severe irritation bordering on anger on behalf of the poor buggers who are going to have to put up with his brainless principles of methodless hard work for the forseeable future.

Just add Megson to that spam filter thing you've got.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Megson Watch
It was all our fault that he was shit by the way.
Only us.
If we'd stuck by him it would have been different.
If we'd welcomed him as one of our own, like the Wednesday fans did, it would have been different.

Not like I think he's shit or anything, but:
Y'know.Lets not beat around the bush - much more like this and Megson will be out.
We are stooping to new lows each week that goes past.

Re: Megson Watch
Spineless? Getting battered week after week? Certainly is the trademark of a Megson team! This really has to be the worst team in anyones living memory , i know you can say the "save our owls" team was shite but honestly it never got battered week after week at home like this excuse for a football side , at least that side took some points at home, it was away it really struggled, this mob are just spineless.

Re: Megson Watch
i feel sad for the Wednesday fans who must be distraught at the pile of shite they've become...
But to add to this Megson visiting their club and Sir Nut visiting their site...
Not even Yorkies deserve that...

I can forgive them being a bit dense and not being able to see wood for trees, they're from Yorkshire.

That Owlstalk link makes a good read. I'm really enjoying watching the stupid buggers as it slowly dawns on them that Meggo may not be the Messiah. Bolton fans may be right after all, eh?

Re: Megson Watch
Minton talks a bit of sense. When it was reported that Megson went in at half time and they were 3-0 down, the bollockings started:
People react differently to being screamed at. Some respond well, some not. Megson should stop blanket f-bombing them at half time and maybe start doing his fooking job and try some man management. Some players need an arm round them rather than a booting. If he is going in at half time and full time and ripping them to pieces, destroying what little confidence they have left, no wonder we look totally devoid of spirit on the pitch.
Elmander is a perfect example, under Megson he didn't look like he was worth £9, never mind £9m. Now he's got someone who can actually motivate him to play and build his confidence, a lot of clubs would think that £9m a bargain...
