Do all our players spouses fight their battles? Its like your wife/mum coming in to your place of work bollocking your boss. Embarrassing for the Sord. Can't disagree with her "#moron" though!Athers wrote:Well his girlfriend doesn't see the point![]()

I would have started N'Gog ahead of Davo for the majority of last season. But after seeing Sordell play the odd game for GB he has way more potential and craft up front.
If he's "one for the future" then giving him game time in the Championship would be ideal. Yet when we signed him we needed "one for now". Bottom line is we've spunked ~£4m on a player that can't get ahead of N'Gog and Davo. So to answer the thread title, there was no fecking point.

It only highlights though, how stuff behind the scenes ain't right. You don't need to be a genius to tell that like, or need a tweet, but our club ain't healthy.

Hmm i dont know about that, show me a footballer who is ever happy at not being picked.
Trouble nowadays is there are so many more ways for them to express this dissatisfaction (or for their girlfriends to do it), or demonstrate how universally dumb most footballers are when it comes to doing things before thinking.

No I get that. But the comments are a bit pointed.ohjimmyjimmy wrote:Hmm i dont know about that, show me a footballer who is ever happy at not being picked.

It happens, I'm not saying we're unique in it.
But there isn't that togetherness you need. And this just highlights it.
Players are unhappy and the rumours about real genuine, Sammy Lee like messes behind the scenes grow.
Nobody is telling me that there isn't a big problem, aside from all the tactical mishaps and blunders!

You have made several hints today at some great turmoil at the club though have provided no evidence or explanation. Let's not just make stuff up, eh?

From the lasses description of herself on twitter I think we can pretty much disregard her opinion on anything football related, no matter who she's shackled up with..

Demba Ba is unhappy about being on the bench at Newcastle... he has made some very pointed remarks in public (through his agent).. Pardew out!BWFC_Insane wrote:No I get that. A few rumours going round. As said they are rumours, I have no idea if they are true or not.Wandering Willy wrote:Player unhappy at not getting in team - happens at every club in the land.BWFC_Insane wrote:It only highlights though, how stuff behind the scenes ain't right. However my own eyes tell me that all is not happy, and that we are not a club all pulling in the same direction.
We spent 3M on Sordell this January. Big signing for us. He's played less than a handful of games, and already it seems is pissed off.
Sure players always are when they're not being picked. The circumstances around this are slightly different and more bizarre than the usual, 'player not being picked' scenario though.

I'm sympathetic to Sordell, but really .... shut yourgirlfriend up man. She has nooooo place tweeting this stuff.
Just prior to the Moo's illness he was at him .... himself, not even his other half .... & however much I areed with him this is not stuff for airing in public.
It does, however, show very clearly that Sordell is not happy. He's entitled not to be.

Not really. It shows that a self-proclaimed gobshite is unhappy on his behalf.bobo the clown wrote:I'm sympathetic to Sordell, but really .... shut yourgirlfriend up man. She has nooooo place tweeting this stuff.

However, he may very well be unhappy. I couldn't blame him. It's not like Afobe is tearing the division a new arsehole. It's not like any of our players are. And now we're back in the division where Sordell made his name.
I wonder if Coyle also regrets a signing he accelerated into because of Cardiff's interest...

I absolutely agree that he has a right to be, assuming he is doing his bit in training why the hell is he not even getting his 20min run-outs.
I just feel he must be sitting there thinking "what have I done?" ... & a loan out would appeal to him I'd bet.

I'd loan him out. For more than one reason.
