So, to be fair ....
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

The footage is absolutely chilling and should be watched by anyone who has a responsibility for fire safety.

Absolutely right to bring it up, should always be remembered, though as others have mentioned, in fairness there has been a lot in the press this year, although I share Brucie's concern that there often isn't enough, this being a major anniversary. The guy who does Football focus (Dan Walker I think) wrote a blog about it and made the realistic point about how Heysel gets more coverage because it was a Champions League final, and Hillsbrough ongoing row.finlayson wrote:Sorry for not seeing those specific reports.
Bad me for bringing it up eh.
I've seen the link Mummy has posted before, and I won't ever be clicking on it again, truly horrific.

Once went to fire training at work and we watched the footage. Just terrible. I was the only one who could understand why people were chanting the clubs name, but unfortunately they didn't know it was more than a stand that was being lost.

Heard a story on the Radio yesterday, with a man saying he'd finally, after years of trying, persuaded his 21 year old daughter to go the Valley Parade for her first ever football match.. He managed to pull her out of the fire, but she died at the scene.. Truly, truly awful
