This has nothing to do with BWFC though, it's not like he was on club time such as when Cashley was having staff sneak birds into his hotel room. If he's innocent then great, if not then he'll be let go, a la Marlon King.DJBlu wrote:I'm sure the truth will come out, I wouldn't go saying anything rash. Indeed, as you can tell from the press reporting.East Lower wrote:Yes, we read that post.ratbert wrote:Like Zulus said, please think before you post, otherwise this thread is locked.
As for it having 'nothing' to do with BWFC, I obviously was referring to the where and when of the incident. Their involvement is marginal.
Joe Bloggs suspected bailed on a rape charge, who works for McD's, McD's rarely get a mention.
Picture that goes with this headline shows a bloke in a Bolton top.
Direct involvement in the incident by BWFC = 0, involvement by association = shedloads.

Agreed.Lord Kangana wrote:Still never understood why they are allowed to reveal the names of an alleged rapist before any investigation or court hearing. I think its disgraceful.
Poh-lice statement:
So likely to be a gobshite bobby (in my experience) who told a mate, who told a mate, who told a mate etc etc.....A spokesman for GMP said: "Police are currently investigating a report of rape in Manchester city centre.
"Shortly before 5am on Monday 25 October 2010, police were called following a report that a 17-year-old had been raped.
"A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape and released on bail pending further inquiries until 1 November 2010."
It is upsetting though; and by the association, brings a dark cloud over the club. Just before a very important game as well, his mind won't be fully focused on football come the w/end. As he's due in court on monday, (I think); will he be in the squad on sun? Hopefully, there's no truth in it, but it's going to affect him either way.

1 yellow, then straight red = 3 games.
Not sure if he was shown a straight red or not after the second incident
