The Trotters vs Mighty Russian Empire (Chelski away)

Post by TKIZ! » Sun Dec 26, 2010 9:00 pm

Ancelotti already complained about this one as we get an extra days rest Could be a good time to play Chelsea or not?

Your predictions please?

Chelsea field a full squad against an up for it Arse and lose tomorrow, resulting in tired / injured squad.

Chelsea field second string or tired firsties and lose to Bolton.

Bolton go above Chelsea.

Easy.
I'd rather support Bolton than be you.

No matter what team they put out if we play anything like we did today they'll be looking to bag 6 or 7. If we turn up then we could scrape a draw

Aye, but I'd go basilica if we got a point.

Realistically, our defence is now stretched

Steinsson looked like a 2-4 week job

With 2 of 'em close to bookings and our 'cover' for all 4 backline positions already in the team, I'd be happy just to avoid any bans

Where's AOB at now, how long's he at Leeds for? I'd be looking to bring him back.

Do you not like having a plus goal difference or something?

I like having people on the bench that don't need to be back home and in bed by 10pm

Can't see anything less than a 3-1 loss to be honest, and worse if we play like yesterday.

But, then the Coyle inspired never say die attitude may just give us a point if we are very very lucky and Drogba, Anelka, Malouda, Lampard, etc, etc, etc ALL leave their shooting boots at home! :D
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

Chelsea haven't been great recently. Goin to watch their game against Arsenal in the pub to see what we're in for.

Whatever the outcome of this game we're almost at 30 points, which is great. We're probably due a slump soon so the nearer we get to 40 the better.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

I don't know why, because despite how good we've been looking, all signs point to Chelsea getting a convicing win (though I think they'll do that against the Arse) but I think we'll at *least* get a draw out of this one!

He's back at Bolton. Why? Well because he's injured. Sorry for not having any better news.

So we could be seeing the introduction of young Alonso soon than we thought? Or could we be trying for a loan defender?
Pfffft.

Alonso can only play on the left I think, and some seem even unsure of that.
