Me too. Was just thinking earlier my first game at Burnden Park would have been 3rd/4th tier and a 1-0 against Stoke.

Cheers, LL. As a further note, and visibly evident on your graph, this ten-year top-flight run is easily our most stable since The Beatles were still knocking out tunes. Since the seven straight second-tier seasons ending in 1971, the most consecutive seasons we've spent in one division was five in the Third under Neal then Rioch.
