New European Financial Rules

Post by BWFC_Insane » Mon Apr 25, 2011 10:48 am

Does anyone know how these will affect our chances of Europa league qualification going forwards?

With all the will in the world I don't think we'll get there this time.

But I know there is a small doubt over Brums chances of getting in due to their financial position (out of interest where would that place go in that situation?)

And I believe the rules get stricter year on year.

They'll not enforce 'em. No way. Chelsea and City clearly aren't going to qualify under any interpretation, and they're going to say that Torres, Lampard, Drogba, Terry, Silva, Tevez, Toure plus whoever else City buy can't play in Europe? Nay way.

I am also cynical about the enforcement.
