pre-season goals...
ok...
5 games lost one - won four = 12 pts out of a possible 15 = 2.4 pts per game
goals: total for: 11 = 2.2 goals per game total against: 3 = 0.6 goals per game.
strikers - Klas and KD - 3 each = 6 = 1.2 goals per game
midfield - dratley & petrov - 2 each = 4 = 0.8 goals per game
defence - cahill - 1 = 0.2 goals per game
so... (and this is the science bit)
projecting this forward over the 38 games of a premiership season...
we will finish with:
91points - 83 goals for - 22 goals against = goal difference - plus 61
strikers will score 45, midfield 30, defence 8 (a nicely balanced mixed economy)
that should see us safe by christmas... yay!

Re: pre-season goals...
Your calculations are incorrect.
You haven't factored in for our home form which always better than our away form.

I will, but I must first consult with Professor Worthy for the correct statistical information.thebish wrote:good point - can you factor that in for me - the wandering willy home/away form quotient?Wandering Willy wrote:Your calculations are incorrect.
