He deserves a bit of respect, IMO—he did well for us last season (pre-Wembley) and always gave 100%. No longer good enough for the Prem, but hopefully he can earn a contract at Leeds.

I like Robbo.

Dip in form this season, along with many others, but scapegoated more than most.

Was great for us last season.

Wish him the best.

I don't think it was a dip in form. It was a dip in ability.

And he wasn't made the scapegoat. He was the main reason we were getting battered as he was being targeted. Now other teams have realised the rest are shite as well so they don't need to target anyone in particular.

Seconded. He was great last season. What happened to him is really a mystery. I'd love to know.

Exasperated somewhat though by Coyle's insistence in picking him. Every opposing team were leathering balls into our LB position knowing that it was our weakest area.

Dip in form?

That's a bit like referring to death as "a bit of a sniffle".

He was a bag of spanners. And often not half as good last season as people seem to recall.

I do wish him well though, because I think he's a genuine sort of player.

I love it how players get the 'well done and good luck' treatment as soon as they leave the club.

He was a fecking embarrassment. His 'performance' against Macclesfield Town was shocking and showed the standard of footballer he really is.

He was shit when he signed, average at best for a little bit and absolutely dire after that. Good riddance.

I'd say I feel sorry for Leeds but I find it funny that he's gone there.

he's given his best for us and he had some good moments - but now his best isn't good enough.. don't see why we shouldn't wish him well.

It cost me £25 to get there and back! Anyone going to chip in? (ps would have been cheaper but he would have burgers on Hartstead Moor services)

Unfortunately it is only a months loan so 'he'll be back'.

I'm with the sympathisers... Good season last season... Less than convincing this... not helped by the manager's formation decisions...

But always an honest footballer... And, for most of his time here, a good player for bolton wanderers...

Good luck Robbo. Not the most skillfull, but when on form, did a great job for us, & always committed to the cause. He's certainly one of the best pointer/shouters the prem has had.

Never had a lack of passion or intent.

Was found out this season for a lack of ability.

Especially when he became exposed by a poor formation and teams targeted him.
