reserves v reading on Thursday at the 'Bok
I'm not going, seeing as I'm down in that London, but just noticed in a match report for the development squad's draw against Man City that they are playing Reading on Thursday at the Reebok, kick off 7pm.
My be worth a gander for those guys looking at the next generation of people for us to boo.

I think the lad from my school Jake Cooper will be playing for Reading, I suggest that Lee and Kelly keep the tactics similar to what they did last time we played them (short, quick passing) as at 6ft 7inch I can't see Tom Young and Zach Clough getting on to any hoof balls.mrkint wrote:I'm not going, seeing as I'm down in that London, but just noticed in a match report for the development squad's draw against Man City that they are playing Reading on Thursday at the Reebok, kick off 7pm.

From the (admittedly very little) I've seen of our kids, a lot of our play is on the deck. Height is one thing, yes, but we seem to be very good at taking care of the ball and moving it quickly. Which is encouraging.

Would agree that as far a I know we try to play good football but you always fear that when teams come under he coche that can change a bit, We missed out on top place in the group to Reading earlier this year so there is no doubting that both sides are strong.mrkint wrote:From the (admittedly very little) I've seen of our kids, a lot of our play is on the deck. Trufax. We're both in the elite group of youngsters, which to be honest could be seen as an achievement in itself for us and praise for our youth set-up.
