Spearing after Bristol game?

Post by RobbieSavagesLeg » Sun Apr 14, 2013 12:41 pm

Anyone heard owt about how Jay-Jay is?

Looked pretty bad yesterday but I fear we'll need him over the next three weeks.
I'd rather support Bolton than be you.

If he's unable to play I'm sure we have a recall option in Holden's loan...

No chance that will happen....Medo will take his place, possibly...

Medo is as good a replacement we could hope for. Holden is way off the pace atm

I can't see Pratley and Medo carrying us the whole way 90 minutes till the end every time.

Always need some fresh legs every now and then in midfield......

Why not? Others do it. We have back up in Vela and Spearing if fit,and Holden's apparently not far off.

I just meant if Spearing is out we probably need Holden for cover on the bench and fresh legs.....

Vela played Thursday for u21's. Ok for cover but not going to replace Spearing. Medo best option imo

Lets not fook about. Medo is great. But Spearing still a big loss. Suspect Dougie was going to play them both against Leicester.

Spearing more of a scrapper and firefighter than Medo is.

Not much we can do about it if he is out though.

Just have to get on with it.

Could be hugely costly though!

Pratley's shitness will really come to the fore without Spearing mopping up his misplaced passes and terrible positional sense.

Bit harsh, that's Spearing's job. And Pratley's is to run his nuts off all over the place so positional sense isn't that key.
Agree we'll miss him though, as no-one else does that job like he does. And his presence certainly makes Pratley a better player. And I'm in a kind-hearted mood because we're winning!

Spearing will be fit to play. Not serious, I think it's his toe nail.
