the Bartercard UK North stand, if you please!
Bolton Wanderers have confirmed a deal with Bartercard, who will take over sponsorship of the Reebok Stadium's North Stand.
Bartercard, who are a barter trading exchange, allow businesses to exchange goods or services with other companies without the need to use cash. Instead, Bartercard 'trade pounds' are used to cover the cost of the deals.
As part of the sponsorship agreement, Wanderers have been provided with an unspecified amount of 'trade pounds'. These will be used within the Bartercard Exchange and will allow the club to cover the costs of day-to-day expenses such as accomodation, marketing and promotional merchandise.
In an official statement, Bolton Wanderers Head of Corporate Relations, Adrian Blackburn, said: "Bolton Wanderers are proud to receive loyal match-day support from entire families and delighted to announce Bartercard as the official sponsor of our revamped family stand.
"We're proud to be associated with a company that has an excellent track record of enabling small businesses to succeed and look forward to the season ahead."
Simon Barker, CEO of Bartercard UK, said: "Everyone at Bartercard would like to wish Bolton Wanderers well for the season ahead and hope that the revamped Bartercard UK North Stand can build on the club's tradition of providing excellent match-day entertainment for the entire family."
As well as claiming sponsorship of the Bartercard UK North Stand, the company will also be the official match sponsor when Wanderers play host to Reading on August 10th.

Does this mean you can wobble up and offer cake, or to fix someone's car or something and get in ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I noticed they're sponsoring either Sheff Weds or Rangers last night.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

The North top tier was a family stand last year too (and possibly before that) but the West lower was also a family stand. Now it is just upper North.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Isn't it now in the top tier? Also talk of BW-history murals, &c.PC1978 wrote:"Revamped family stand"??? What have they done to it?

Wasn't it for time the McDonald's Family Stand (named after the US owned burger chain and scarer of Didi Hamman, not a family called McDonald) ? Interestingly the food franchise meant they couldn't sell McDonald food in the McDonald stand, family or otherwise.PC1978 wrote:The North top tier was a family stand last year too (and possibly before that) but the West lower was also a family stand. It's all being adorned with fan photos and pictures of classic BWFC moments, callaged onto the walls. The whole ground should be like that, really.
