He's mad...Wolves away. Feb 2nd...

" that trusts in the tameness of a wolf"

It is forbidden to even contemplate not being the One and Only Wanderers, even if we were in the Bolton Sunday League. If one goal is all we can win by, then so be it. 11-10 us. (always assuming Henry is not intending screwing things up, of course.)

This also represents our last chance of doing a double over any team. We will lose. Heavily.

I'd be amazed if we get anything here this time. 0-2 defeat.

It's a nod towards John McGinlay and his battle with Wolves. As in "I might have gave him a wee poosh."

I did actually, Jugs. "Wee" is not really in my normal vocabulary and you can't think Wolves without John, Mac (well, some of us can go back to Steve Bull, and Derek Dougan etc...) :D

How very dare you!! Tango absolutely DID mean it - he wrote the same back in 2014 - referencing McGinlay: (and several times since and before!)
Tangodancer wrote:"He's mad that trusts in the tameness of a wolf, a horse's health,
a boy's love, or a whore's oath."King Lear (III, vi, 19-21).......William Shakespeare.

"Twas just a wee push"....John McGinlay

Tango - you might be surprised to learn that the word "wee" is much more part of your regular vocabulary than you imagine!!

Anyway, at least it's not a six pointer. Maybe whatever players we have left can relax, use it as a training opportunity for Saturday, which will be an eighteen pointer...

Badly done indeed Sire. :spank:
Any "v Wolves" fixture is anything but a training opportunity. They are matters of pride on our side, coupled with extreme prejudice against theirs. Thus it ever was....
