Looking for something else I came across this and was amazed at how many players I'd forgotten about. (With a nod to Walking down the Manny Road site for its use)

Some big names there. It will be another several years before we see the likes of Anelka's, Ochocha's, Gardners's, Campo's, Djorkaeff's in a Bolton Wanderers shirt again, but not impossible.

Lets start with a clean slate in League 1 and build the side around the likes of Holding, Clayton and Clough and a get in a few experienced heads (not as old as Heskey) who are on the other side of 30 to play with them and show them the ropes. Oh.. and find a good manager with a track record of success in that League to get us out and up.

How many of our lads are playing against Germany in the friendly tomorrow? I'm sure they'll call on two or three?
