Pre-Season Train-ing.
Just read that Horwich Parkway is closed ever weekend until October 2nd.
Which is helpful.

The stations in and around Bolton are closed more than they're bloody open now. Getting to the point where you might as well not bother even trying to use the trains at the weekend.

Re: Pre-Season Train-ing.
I used to commute on the Thameslink line into London and it was dire. It's apparently folly to try and use it any day of the week these days. Complete mess.

If past experience is a guide, they'll lay on one rail replacement coach for the whole train, and it will get in at 3.30.

I hope we got the manager who said they'd walk it to the Macron for the Bolton job...

I doubt he expected to have to every day though.Worthy4England wrote:I hope we got the manager who said they'd walk it to the Macron for the Bolton job...
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
